Firefly’s challenge was to give environmental consulting firm Royal Haskoning a communications platform that would place it shoulder-to-shoulder with larger, global competitors in terms of thought leadership, resulting in greater consideration and more frequent short-listing for coveted environmental engineering projects. Firefly commissioned a study to look at the predicted increase in green collar working in the UK and the pressures that it will place on the domestic skills market. The campaign increased awareness of Royal Haskoning in the UK engineering consultancy market, which helped the company land an exclusive contract with one of the champions of wind energy in the UK and Europe. This deal was significantly aided by Royal Haskoning’s share of voice and prominence in ‘green’ coverage.
