International accountancy and business advisory firm Mazars has retained Firefly Scotland’s services for five years. As well as handling general firm-wide announcements this relationship has seen Firefly create proactive media opportunities for Mazars through issues hijacking, topical media alerts and by-lined articles on everything from corporate and personal tax to insolvency, including managing the deluge of media interest surrounding Mazars’ appointment as administrator to Livingston Football Club. Firefly advised on media strategy and messaging, staged a press briefing at the club for TV crews, radio, national and regional press, and thereafter issued regular progress statements to keep the media fully informed.
