Firefly was appointed by Thorntons Law, one of Scotland’s longest established legal firms, to launch its unique, new legal service – Login2Law – which offers both online legal advice and integrated legal documentation for Scotland.

For the launch, we focused on the wills service offered by Login2Law by carrying out a YouGov survey into how many people in Scotland have a will. The results showed that the majority of Scottish adults do not have a will in place. Furthermore, they are unaware of what happens to their possessions should they pass away without having a legal will. This created an opportunity to position Login2Law as a fast, easily accessible and cost-effective option for legal advice and documentation.

Within the first few weeks of launching Login2Law and as a result of the survey push, we achieved 17 pieces of coverage in our target media, reaching 1,726,886 people and exceeding our initial targets. Coverage appeared across five broadcast outlets including BBC Radio Scotland, Real Radio and STV, as well as national and regional online and print media such as The Scotsman and The Herald.
