Firefly ran a re-branding campaign for Carillion IT Services, following Carillion plc’s acquisition of Alfred McAlpine IT Services. Providing initial strategic advice pre-takeover, Firefly worked to proactively communicate the merger within the UK’s IT sector and analyst community. Campaign highlights included promoting a major contract-win with BAE Submarine Solutions where the team secured unique access for a journalist site visit at BAE’s HQ in Barrow to see the ‘IT in action’ on board a nuclear submarine. Our efforts across Carillion’s pioneering work in RFID technology with an NHS Trust saw coverage in the Financial Times and a direct sales lead for our client, demonstrating the real power of PR.
