Firefly PR Charity Case Studies - Samaritans
Firefly was tasked with developing a consumer campaign to promote Samaritans’ 50th anniversary and re-position the organisation as an emotional health charity. To do this, Firefly commissioned research into which events over the past 50 years had most affected people in the UK personally – both publicly and privately. The research was unveiled on the charity’s anniversary via a two-pronged media campaign. We secured national exclusives and widely syndicated stories, achieving eight national newspaper features, seven broadcast items and 67 regional newspapers with an OTS of more than 46 million.
