Firefly organised four Christmas events for client, Give as you Live this Christmas. Three in a beautiful room in Liberty department store to educate our print, broadcast and digital press on charitable giving via Give as you Live, the fourth a Christmas-themed Twitter Party in partnership with BritMums. Firefly used Christmas shopping research to entice the media and developed an infographic (opposite) which visually represented the stats.
All the events were a great success. In fact, thirty minutes into the hour-long Twitter Party, #xmastips was trending worldwide at number two, and @giveasyoulive had received 195 related direct tweets.
The full Christmas campaign resulted in Give as you Live’s average daily shoppers increasing by 88% during the month of December. The campaign was shortlisted for the 2012 Golden Hedgehog and Sabre awards.
